FAQ
Which money tool should I set up first?▼
Start with the expense tracker, because most of this category reads from it. After a couple of weeks of transactions the budget planner has real figures to set limits against, and the category breakdown, the spending heatmap and the monthly report all have something to show.
Can I use a currency other than dollars?▼
Amounts are stored as plain numbers, so any currency works as long as you stay consistent within a tool. For travel or overseas purchases, the foreign expense tool records the original amount and the converted home-currency amount side by side, using a rate you enter yourself.
Can I track debt payoff and savings at the same time?▼
Yes. The debt tracker holds each loan with its balance and payment history, the savings goal tracker holds each target with its deposits, and both draw a progress bar. Net worth then adds up your assets, subtracts your liabilities and charts the monthly change, so you can see whether the overall direction is right.
